WHAT IS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL?

ETWFA plays fastpitch softball or sometimes referred to as fastball. Fastpitch softball differs from most other variations of softball and hardball by the pitch delivery. The ball is pitched underhand, typically in a windmill or slingshot motion, giving the pitch as much speed as possible and typically in a straight or flat line.

The rules and defensive positioning are very similar to baseball. 

Stealing and leadoffs are permitted, ensuring a fun and competitive game!
